A Gentle Gathering is the first textile collection by A. Vetra and manufactured by Tessitura la Colombina.<\/p>\n

\"collezione<\/p>\n

It evokes memories of quiet times, gestures, and old rituals, reminding us of the importance of re-setting our values through simplicity and familiarity.
\nThe truthful beauty of rural memories and their slow rhythm bring people together, embracing them in a warm and intimate atmosphere.<\/p>\n

\"A.Vetra<\/p>\n

These blankets and cushions are slow objects, handmade using wool yarns chosen from a forgotten archive. The making of each piece goes through manual and slow processes, where ancient restored handlooms weave following the body\u2019s pace: expert, immersive and repetitive gestures leave a trace of imperfection that makes every artifact authentic and unique.<\/p>\n

With the warm hues of an earthy palette, the collection describes the traditional checkerboard motif, organized in a textured grid play where the dense and soft mohair blocks are gently framed by relief lines, and placed on a rough and primitive wool surface. Simple in aesthetic but rich in tactility and made with a sophisticated method of manufacture.<\/p>\n
